ABS Sensors + Module

Post by MoSsElMaN »

According to the error codes generated:

1) ABS Module faulty
2) Left & Right REAR wheel ABS sensors faulty (saw this with my own eyes on the scantool since only the front sensors were displaying speed figures...the rear was blank)

is there a way to service or perhaps clean the ABS module or sensors to get them to work again or do i need to buy them new?

Check the connector. Make sure that there is no corrosion and that it is fully enganged - you might want to perform a continuity check with a multi-meter. To have both sensors go faulty at the same time is unlikely. The ABS module is one of the weak links in the 850. Do a search on ABS within Matthew's Forum and you will see a wealth of information.

Good luck,
