V50 Climate blower replacement

Post by Jumbobazman »

I did find some posts on here that halfway answer my question but not enough info to start ripping my dash apart...

Does anyone have the service manual or a video link for which way I go to get this unit out?

Is it glovebox or drivers side on a RHD V50 circa 2006?

Any help much appreciated - fan stopped working and I need to get it out to check the part number and replace

Thanks in advance

Barry

I have VIDA in a virtual machine and copied these PDF's from it...one is for blower motor and the other is taking part of the dash apart to get to it, etc. This is for an S40 but should be the same for your car. I'm not sure how much of the later you'll need but hope that this info is helpful. Sorry it took so long to answer you!

Thaks for this. On reflection I have booked it into a garage. Its more work that I can take on most probably. You did help me make the decision before I started which isnt always the case :D
