04-V70 Transmission stuck in limp mode, Anti-Skid Service Required
When starting out of driveway, the transmission went into limp mode. At first I thought I might have activated "W"inter mode, but indicator light not on. A 1/4 mile down the road, the "Anti-Skid Service Required" message came on the message board. I've parked the car, and wondering what actually came first the transmission problem or the ABS. Any diagnostic suggestions would be welcome...

Could be the transmission speed sensor on top of the transmission. If you can have the car read by an OBDII reader that would provide far more information than the dashboard and we'd all be able to help more than a guess.
Restart the car 3 times and see if limp mode goes away. If not a repair will need to be done.
