Please confirm that there is NOT an axle seal on the passenger side at the transmission (this seems odd that there would not be a seal).
When I looked online, FCP appears to only show a LEFT manual transmission seal.
If there is an axle seal on the RHS, please advise of the appropriate part number.
Thank you.

Oddly, FCP doesn't seem to list the correct information on the axle seals. There IS an axle seal for the passenger side axle. I ordered this one from FCP: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... al-6843112

- When you order that seal from FCP, you will get Corteco, which is the OEM mfg. I have Corteco seals in my car. Great product.
- Search forum but I posted a few photos: put the new seal in EXACTLY as the old seal. Run your finder on the OLD seal to figure out how deep it sits from factory. Then install the new seal at the SAME DEPTH. I made the mistake of installing 2-3mm too deep ---> ATF leak! Not fun! I posted the photos in the axle thread below, look for the thread from Oct. 16, 2016:
- Oil the seal before installation, rotate it as you insert it to prevent "fold-over" of the lip.

As with any seal: install the new seal flush with the case, then it will not leak.

Yes, DEFINITELY make sure you see how the old one is in there (assuming it hasn't come loose or anything). If it's beyond flush, don't push it any further. It's best to use a block of wood to tap it in evenly so it's flush.cn90 wrote: 17 Dec 2017, 11:28 - When you order that seal from FCP, you will get Corteco, which is the OEM mfg.
