hello, I am the owner of a 2000 non turbo volvo s70, I have the ets light on with the car in limp mode, after changing the etm module the car worked fine for a few minutes but the ets light came back on with car in limp mode, however; when the car is hot, I disconnect the battery completely and connect it back, one time out of two the car is fine and runs perfect for the rest of the day until i park the car for the next day, when the car is cold it is systematically in limp mode.
need your opinion on that. could it be a bad ground, the alternator, a bad throttle body???need your help before I take the car to a mechanic who will charge me a leg to fix it. thank you again for reading and helping me.

You need to get VIDA and read off the ETS codes specific to the ETM to figure] out what is going on.
These cars don’t lend themselves to repair by symptom when you get to complex systems like the ETM
Where did you get the replacement ETB? Did you update software?

Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.
