rear spring replacement

Hi

I am gonna replace the rear spring on my volvo v70, can i use this tool to
compress the spring enough to slide it out??

I'll go out on a limb and say probably not. I've replaced my rear springs with reinforced ones and I opted for removing the inner bolt of the link arm och taking the uncompressed spring out from the inside instead.
