FCP Product Reviews Delayed - Holiday Related?

I have given FCP many thousands of $ of business over about a 13 year +/- span. Generally, I have been delighted with their products and service. I have taken advantage of their generous warranty policy. One area in which I believe their service requires improvement (remember, one person's opinion here) is the promptness with which they post product reviews by customers.

I recently purchased genuine Volvo part # 8666773 from FCP. The part is advertised as a remote key fob "case." That is an inherently misleading description. The part is the case back piece only, not the entire case as the description suggests. Further complicating the misrepresentation is a lack of product photo -- a generic box labeled "Volvo" is used in lieu of an actual product picture.

I reviewed the product recently. No review has been posted.

Caveat emptor.

I too would agree on the issue with placing images of a generic box. I do not understand why they cannot obtain an image of the actual part, with at least two views of the item.

For me, the issue runs a little deeper. There are negative product reviews I have submitted in the past that have never -- as in not ever-- been posted. I think if you are offering product reviews, you have an obligation to post both good and bad and not cherry pick reviews. Unless I do not understand how the process of submitting reviews works -- always a possibility -- it would appear to me that the review process is being manipulated.

I’ve yet to have an issue w their parts, but as a novice to Volvo, I would rather be able to see a picture of the part vs a generic Volvo box.

The number of bad parts I have gotten from FCP is certainly significantly <1%. Because I know it is such a reliable source, that frustrates me even more when I do get the very occasional bad one.

I misspoke too, the graphic is a generic FCP box.

I don't need a photo if the description is accurate. What's the marginal cost of writing "case back" versus "case?"
