Permanent 'Ink'

Okay, I know this ones kind of out there. My sister is a very good artist and I have spent A LOT of money on my 850 as I am sure many of you have. I have a quarter panel where the top 1/3 has no clear coat and is very faded and sun damaged from our 120 degree heat here in AZ there's no helping it besides stripping, repainting and coating it which I don't plan to do. I do plan to get a spare quarter panel some day in my paint color in good shape as a backup. I would like to have my sister do some art on the metal/light coat of sun damaged paint that will last for at least 5 years or so does anyone have any ideas or experience here? I can spray clear over it but I would rather have something that wont wear fast on it's own.

You can put UV resistant coating on it.

Thanks. I'll give that a try it looks like people use it on headlights a lot.

Been meaning to get two cans so I can fix up the rear quarter panel which looks like it was sanded down for some reason... There are also the two stage UV clear coats you can put on that are supposed to work well. There's a Youtube guy "ratchetsandwrenches" who uses one of these two-stage cans and it comes out pretty good. Certainly better than most finishes on 20-year old cars...
