My ignition key sticks sometimes does it need to be replaced?

My ignition key sticks sometimes does it need to be replaced?

I have a 05 xc70 and sometimes when I go to start it the key will not turn and I have to wiggle it around a lot and move wheel around to get it to turn is this a commkn problem? Or do I need to replace the ignition switch? Also if I do have to replace it is it hard to do?

It might just need a lube. Try some Strattec Lockshot.
