Fuel injectors

Post by dha89 »

I'm searching for a new fuel rail for my 2002 volvo v70 xc 2.4l turbo. I keep finding ones for different vehicles that have the same set up but different color injectors. I have the orange injectors. Are there a big difference in the injectors I've seen green and what looked like grey. If I get one with different injectors are there any that would improve the performance of the car or will it basically be the same? I'm looking for a new set up bc my pressure regulator won't stop leaking no matter what I do to fix it and the delivery line is leaking around the hose where it connects to the fuel rail fitting

If you use injectors that are not matched with your ECU, performance of the car will go down and you run a risk of blowing the engine up.

Can't you mate your existing injectors to a new rail?

How about replacing the 99 cent Oring on the fuel line and the FPS?

I said no matter what I do to fix it. The first thing I did was replace the oring. I've put 3 on it. It's not leaking around the oring. And it's also not the only thing leaking. And yes I can put my injectors in the rail I was just wondering what the difference was. When I was building hondas we used to swap injectors and stuff all the time but I've found out volvos are a completely different story from what I'm used to
