94 850 Turbo no power engine surges

My 94 850 Turbo starts and runs normally up to 35mph then it just has no power. Every 3 second the engine rpm will increase momentarily. Any ideas will be appreciated

check your intercooler boost hoses for security and holes.

Any codes? A failing ECT can cause this too. When checking the boost hoses, also disconnect and reconnect the ECT, and inspect the plug for a good clean connection. Try jumpering the fuel pump relay.

I’d definitely check for codes, you’re chasing your tail otherwise.
