Hi,

Interesting pictures.

I was also thinking that maybe tie it to the roof with some rope? I only have to drive 1 mile on back roads.
I have other stuff in the back i'd have to remove, if necessary.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.

Wrap the board with two towels , open all four doors, and tie it through the open doors with rope, looping the rope around the wood once. Drove your 1.6 kilometers home and enjoy your 2.5 meter long 60 cm wide lumber

You guys in NJ always have bodies in the trunk , don't you?

Forget the open doors, just tie it through the open windows. Get in and out through the window, like the Duke brothers did.

You can also carry a dead body in a casket with extra room - apparently Volvo's in Europe came in hurst form at some point. The ultimate in anti-theft protection. Nothing says don't carjack me like driving a hurst - just point to the back and ask if they're up for double occupancy...

One of these days I may have to change Abscate's background on his mac to a giant picture like this:

Just so he knows what it looks like. Seems the forums are always squeaky clean =)

They're only there for traction - like sand bags... =)
