Erratic boost with P0245 and P0422

My 01 V70 2.4T has an odd problem, started out while driving in the snow, I got a P0245 code, after that I checked the lines off the TCV replaced any that were broken or bad, no help. Replaced the TCV, now the car spikes to 12-14 psi quickly drops to 0 then rises back to 2 psi. Replaced the MAF, Car idles smoother, little peppier, boost still spikes and drops, Code still persist. I’m lost trying to hunt this down, car is very unpredictable right now

You need a low pressure precision gauge to test the waste gate valve. You can test it by inspection by rigging an iPhone under your hood to video it,

The blowoff valve is the other one that can go, but you have to remove the cover to inspect. I remember,her spending a fun 3-4 hours doing that once

iPhone are not cheap, why risk damage or loss when USB Endoscopes are cheap ~$15.00.
