Need rims for my 1999 S70 GLT

My front tires leak a few LB every day, did the soap test and figured that the rim has corroded and the tire is not sitting as they should on the rims. I need to get replacement rims for the front wheels. Does anybody have rims they are getting rid of? Let me know.Thanks..!

It is unusual for rims to corrode to that extent especially in CA I would have thought. What does often happen is over the years there is a build up of sealant on the rim edge which needs to be removed to allow a good seal. Most good tire fitters should be able to clean that off to allow fresh sealant to work properly.

How old are your tires? I just had an old spare removed from a rim and it literally crumbled where the tire bead met the rim.

From 1999 this car was in MA and VA, came to CA only in 2016. Or may be the rim is bent??The tires were replaced in 2017, Michelin on all 4 of them

- Too bad you don't live here, otherwise I have a complete set of wheels and tires (60% tread remaining for sales).

Try having that tire re-mounted. Odds are whomever put it on didn't clean the surface sufficiently. With exception of a rim with a hole in the side or being bent, tires generally shouldn't leak if mounted correctly.

The problem could also be a bad valve.
