I have 2000 Volvo S80 T6 temperature gauge is not going up, and my radiator fan is running all the time, and it also runs after I shut off the engine, I have replaced the temperature sensor and replace the whole dash cluster gauge and nothing has changed.
I don't know what going on right now. I have some mechanic skill, I replaced the transmission on this car last myself. I can do almost anything. I also have extra S80 computer that I haven't tried yet. Please help me with this problem.
Temperature gauge won't go up
Don't put that extra computer in!! I have heard stories of computers from other volvos that once put in, cause a total failure of the vehicle as they are foreign to the programming of the current system. Such failures cannot be repaired.
Change the thermostat. The old one is stuck in the open position so the water never heats up and you gauge shows that. Have you already put in a new thermostat ?
