Post by klabacka »

I have lost my key to 2001 V70 and would like to place in neutral for towing purposes. Can someone help me?

Remove air cleaner box and detach the cable from lever on top of transmission. Two clicks and you are in Neutral. It will only move one way as Park position is an end point and it will not move any further in that direction.

To pop out the airbox just detach the hoses/cables around and pull it upwards with some force, it should snap free. Or use two long extensions and a 8 or 9mm socket and push downwards in the center of the three securing clips while pulling on the box. like here at 0:30
