Sad. V70 R 6SP buyer/seller is flipping it.

Post by matthew1 »

According to local Volvo expert Brett Borders who I trust completely, a V70 R 6SP currently on sale by a private party here is flipping it.

He bought it for $6500 and has it listed for almost $14k. I hate this.

If you're going to buy a rare, special Volvo, be the driver.

Good grief is that a great looking V70. Sorry to see it get flipped. Any idea if it is as mechanically sound as it is aesthetically pleasing?

Does that factory sub delete the spare?

Of course not, it sits on top of the spare

There are options on many brands that delete spare in favor of the pump and goo system. Not at all a crazy question.

The VOLVO lettering on tailgate has my attention. Smells like crash damage to me hundreds of miles away.

I doubt he will catch any fish at that price. You can always put an ad in for the same car at $7500 and when you get calls, tell there where they can get it,

No mileage is listed. I assume from both front seats it is high. So 14K is a no from the photos. June

Sad??? Why? Pretty common to see someone looking for a pigeon.

It's Spring. The car is RED. It's an automobile of some interest.

Hey, I innocently overpriced my '99 when I set out to sell it and people called to scold / educated me.

HISTORY: On average, I overshoot my asking prices by only 15%. This guy is indeed fishing.

128k miles, clean title, according to the ad.

It’s sad IMHO because the seller didn’t buy it to drive it. He may not like Volvos even. I don’t know.

The condition of the leather on driver’s seat is telling me that the car was used primarily for lodging which somewhat explains the modest mileage of 128kMi
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
