98 V70 T5 suddenly stopped running

My daughter called and told me her V70 T5 suddenly quit running while on the freeway. I called a tow truck, and by the time it arrived, we were able to start the car, and drive it up the tow platform. Also able to drive it off the platform when we arrived home. It's not showing any codes. Any ideas?

Ideas: First guess is the fuel pump relay. Second guess is the fuel pump.

Then there is a gap in the list but further down the list is things that aren't usually intermittent like cam position sensor, crank sensor. Could be ignition parts but those usually throw a code, except for maybe the coil.
