Hello! My cherished 98 V70 bit the dust last week, due to a faulty fuel pump/send unit that caught fire. I'm just saying, it wasn't my fault. So now I'm in the market!
There aren't a lot of decent options near me, but I found a great 2006 V50 that's four hours from me, thinking about driving to check it out and maybe buy it this coming weekend, thought I'd see what you all think about the price.
It's the T5 fwd, 2.5L turbo. Has the winter package, lots of other features. Has 98,500 on the clock. Owner has a clean car fax I took a look at, they're the second owner of the car. From what they've told me, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Car has had oil changes every 6,000 miles. Brakes were done at 85k. They're asking $3900 for it. Does this seem like a decent price for the car?
When checking things out on CL, I like to take the money with me that is the most I'm willing to offer, but I don't want to lowball them. I have a hard time gauging how much these things should sell for, I've seen such a range of pricing. This one definitely seems the lowest miles for the price though.
