Picked up a C70 convertible

I found a new toy for my wife to drive while her R wagon is down. 105xxx miles and $2,700 from 2nd owner. It sat under a cover in a warehouse and was driven once a month or so for the last 7 years as a pleasure vehicle while he had it. Everything works, save for the rear speakers and a sticking gearshift release button. Oh, yeah. the antenna is missing.

That color really suits the car. The sticking button is either due to crud in it or the button has cracked. First try spraying the button around its sides with silicon oil to see if that will help. If you have a small mirror you can also check for the button not being cracked badly. You probably know you can buy an aftermarket replacement.

The shift release button on my C70 convertible also started sticking. A quick squirt of WD40 solved it and it hasn't acted up since, about a year later.
