Hey Guys I need help.
I removed my dash cover including the pass side airbag. Well it gonna be a multiple day project.
I was wondering if I can drive the car without the dash cover and more importantly without the
pass side airbag installed. will it trigger any problems. I need to drive the car on a daily basis.
I feel like it would be OK but I'm looking for confirmation
Please someone let me know ASAP if I can drive the car
THANX Rick.
Can I drive without the pass airbag installed.

It will trigger an SRS code that you will need a dealer or high end scanner to clear that code. I’m in BOSTON area and can do that for you if you are close to my travels.
It’s not clear if the passenger air bag will work if the light is on, after you hook it up
I believe the answer is that none of the air bags work if the system faults but I can’t say that definitely

I understood if the SRS light comes on, on the dash, that means the system is disabled until the repair is completed and the SRS light has been reset.
So yes the car can be driven, but as abscate says, you will need to find a way to reset and he can help you.
Neil.

OP has a 95, he can clear codes using the OBDI connector. No need for scanner.abscate wrote: 22 Jun 2018, 05:13 It will trigger an SRS code that you will need a dealer or high end scanner to clear that code. I’m in BOSTON area and can do that for you if you are close to my travels.
