HomeLink Retrofit

All,

Has anyone ever done a HomeLink retrofit? My 2006 NA V70 didn't come with it as an option and as my old car had it, would be nice to have again. Is it as easy as simply grabbing a HL visor out of the scrapyard and R&R or is there some module/reprogramming required?

It is all self-contained. Get the visor and make sure the power supply for the vanity mirror on driver's side is there (fuse not blown, wire not broken).

Update: Pulled a HomeLink visor from a 2004 today. It's got both the wire (for the vanity lights I'm guessing) that goes into the elbow that the visor pivots on AND a separate harness for the HomeLink.

Got home, pulled down my 2006 base V70 visor and....no separate harness. Also, the 2004 visor is vinyl whereas the 2006 is more of an alcantara microfibre. I suppose I can figure a way to tap into the vanity wiring.
