I am easily confused. Are we talking ECC (A/C electronic control) in the same breath as the term ECM?

If it is the ECC = ECM we are talking about it is not necessary to disconnect the battery to remove the 2 x harness connectors on the back of the ECC A/C control unit as long as the Ignition is not on. If you have screwed around with the wiring at the ignition to leave it live when the key is out, then for safety sake disconnect the battery so as not to fry anything unintentionally.

Neil.

No I’m referring to the ECM (computer) not dash control. In a previous post here was some confusion there. But, I’m gonna leave it alone. Too many consequences with my situation.
