Tail lights stay on

When parked or when?

Did you try turning the light switch?

Yes. Pulled the battery cable over night to try to reset. Lights still on.

If all the forward lighting turns on and off with the light switch while the car is turned off/ignition key out, but these rear lamps stay on, I would suspect a problem with the REM.
