One more thing I need some advise on ... If I may.
I have replaced my brakes with brand new discs and Akebono pads last year and right after when the brakes got hot I would get this crazy rattle that would shake the whole car coming from the back when braking ... after bit of research I worked out that having no shims on the pads would cause this issue.. so I went ahead and get set of factory shims for the rear pads and the after installing them the rattle was gone ... All good and well until few weeks ago (and around 5000kms) the rattle has returned...
So same deal when there are few people in the car, driving in a city traffic for a while (read hot brakes) you get this loud rattle that shakes the whole car when you come to stop .... So I'm kind of lost now if the not having the shims was the cause of this before ... what can be causing the same issue now if I have the shims installed??
Anyone faced this issue?
Thanks

Couple items. First make sure your lug nuts are tight. Second if they are tight remove the wheel and re-inspect your work. Make sure everything is tight. Make sure you have the correct pads installed for your rotor size.
Three other things could be going on 1) Your rotors are warped; 2) your caliper pins could be sticking (pull these out and clean them up); or 3) if your car is equipped with internal drum brakes for the hand brake those may be the issue.
I have never owned that car or worked on an S70, but above items is where I would start looking.
