heater/ac blower

Post by jamesrh34 »

I have a 1984 240 gl and have done most of my own repairs but, I am reluctant to dive into the situation, I am hoping that someone might have some information first. The heater works and so does the ac unit. I believe that the motor may be non functional or maybe a loose connection. Slowly, the air stopped moving over a period of a month until no more. I would appreciate any feedback.

If the air flow stopped slowly I would rule out a loose connection/fuse and, as far as I can remember, there is no relay fitted to the heater motor.

It would look like the motor itself has died.
