Hi all - Do I understand that the 1993 240 has a specific one piece horn, versus other years that have a low tone/ high tone two part horn? If that is correct - can anyone direct me to a plug and play replacement? I know it is just the horn versus button or relay. Just looking for an easy replacement. Everything I've looked at online eBay/europarts/etc. Sells just low tone/high tone. Thanks in advance.

It would be unusual for a car maker to use a one year only horn with a large model line.

Volvo parts lisle shows the 1993 with two tone horns, so the single horn info is debatable.

Part number is 3540907 but NLA, junkyard Is best bet.

Thanks @abscate - wrecker yard it is. It does only have one connection for a horn which is why I was thinking the info I read (somehwere) about one horn could be accurate.

If anyone can snap a picture of their '93 behind the grille that would be even better!

Indeed looks like a single unit. From my local dealership parts department:

"Your model year requires one 400Hz horn #3540907. Earlier years had two, a high (420Hz) and a low (335Hz). All have been discontinued, in case you were entertaining the idea of switching one for two.

If you're going to try e-bay:
1235449 = 335Hz
1235450 = 420Hz"
