Stalling Issue and EGR Delete on 850 Turbo?

Post by e13h »

I'm looking at trying to figure out why my 95 850 turbo is stalling and while the egr valve may not be the problem i'd still be interested in taking it out as people have said it increases mpg. If someone could list a descriptive guide on how to do this that would be very appreciative. Also any suggestions on why the car is stalling unless i give it gas, and has a high idle would be fantastic.

Cleaning the idle air control valve would be a good place to start for poor idle. Vacuum leaks will also cause poor idle. MAF sensor and coolant temp sensor can cause poor idle and stalling.
