Once again, after 5? years I've got a couple of leaky seals on the 93 850. I think I used Elring last time. Searching around, I came across this 2016 post which concludes that Cortico and Elring are the same item—and that Corteco is considered OEM.

That post is 2 years old. Does anyone have recent experience, good or bad, with either brand? Any new kids on the block?

I'm aware of SKF cam seals not doing the job (I was an SKF proponent at some point), and of Elring too, but never heard bad reports on Cortecos. Wherever it came from if it says Corteco on the seal you are good to go. If Elring was shipping Corteco at some point that was probably just good fortune - the Elring cam seals have been roundly criticized on the forums.
I just installed Corteco in the V70 back in the spring, it had a leaky factory front cam seal needed to come out.
