Tow truck broke out front strut spring, WTF!!

Our 2004 XC70 busted the coolant rubber hose on the crankcase ventilation coolant pipe. Since I didn't want to change it on spot I had it towed home. Tow driver had to place on flatbed pulling rear of car up first and he used straps because the eyehooks wouldn't catch threading in back location. We were in bad spot with traffic all over so it was time sensitive. These springs are newish, about 2 years old, I replaced everything (springs, shocks, strut mounts, bearings, hardware, ect.) Sachs brand and bought it all from fcpeuro.com. Problem is I didn't notice until 2 weeks later when I finally fixed the hose and replaced a few other items. I go to test drive and hear scraping, I get out to look then find broken strut spring on R/F. Unreal!!

Crap on rye.

Two weeks after the event, the tow truck guy has probably already left for another job. Take pix, showing fresh damage, maybe you can get some love from them? If it was a AAA tow that is a plus

Very funny.
Worst case scenario fcpeuro does warranty there parts for life, I mean as uncommon it is for a coil spring to break generally speaking. Unfortunately this would be the third front strut spring in 5 years since owning her, two on R/F.
