98' V70 doors hard to open? Help?

I few of my doors front and rear on my 1998 volvo v70 have handles that are pretty hard to pull and require some muscle. I owned this car for 3 months and had this problem ever since i bought it. Maybe needs lubricated but where? Could anybody help me?

Same problem on my '99 V70XC driver door, but not so big that it made me investigate (yet).
Curious for solutions as well!

Most likely just need a good lube. One of the things I do when I buy a new to me old car. In the case of the Volvo P80, make sure you have some spare door card clips as they will likely break a bunch when you remove them at this age.

Grease the lock mechanism on the back of the door. If they are as tight as you say, try spraying them with a spray lube or WD40. Then let them soak for a while and then carefully work the locks up and down with the door open. If you get no improvement, then the door covers need to come off to get to the door mechanisms to get lube into those as well as the lever assemblies before you break anything expensive. While in there make sure you lube the door limit straps and the hinges.
