Wow XC70s sale quick!

My dealer had a used XC70 T6 Platinum one owner 52K 2012 or 13 cant exactly recall. Looked at it at the end of last week, gone today! I thought they were crazy asking $39,995 and a few days later sold? Is there something about this era of XC70 that makes them so desirable? This is really a curiosity question really. It did have a turbo 6 cylinder and was essentially brand new condition for 5 years 52K... But 40K for a 5 year old car??? June

NADA clean retail of that is 22k The Platinum might get more bucks, but I don't think 18k more?

Either they were fishing for high-rollers and caught one - or maybe actual was much less?

At 39,995 I thought they were insane! I just admired the car walking around smoking while my oil was being changed. A 70 wagon is rare on the lot these days that's why I looked at all. But sold so fast!!! June
