airbag reset 1997 850 needed NYC QUEENS

Post by jmaggioc »

Hello all,

Thanks for the suggestions on my previous post. I met up with abscate a few days ago, and he tried to help me clear the SRS code after my dashboard repair. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful with his Autel scanner.

Is there anyone in the Long Island or NYC/Queens area that has VOL-FCR? I could use some help here.

John

You can clear the SRS DCTs with VOL-FCR 1.3, which can be found with a little Googling, and a VAG-COM KKL 409.1 cable which you can get on eBay for as little as $3.00.

Hi John,
I have the Ebay "Check Engine"/"SRS" tool. I never used it to reset an SRS light, but we could definitely give it a whirl before you waste a day at a Dealer. Sending you a PM right now.
