05 s40 whirring/whistling noise
05 s40 whirring/whistling noise
My s40 is making a whistling noise that stops when you remove the oil cap or dipstick. I am thinking it’s tje PCV system. Is there a write up for replacing this? I can’t seem to locate one. Thanks

If you suspect the PCV system, first do the PCV glove test to confirm it.
Make sure you tie down the glove with a zip tie so that it does not get sucked into the engine.
Limp = pass, Erection = fail.
