Hi, I replaced the PNP switch in my 850 and when I hooked everything back up, for the life of me can't figure out where this connects to - any help would be appreciated! It splits off of the positive battery terminal.

Looks like the turbo control valve to me... But I thought you folks had the mechanical/vac. operated one...

Did you get it figured out? Can't be a turbo valve as car is a non-turbo.

Are you in the Calgary area? If so I can try to help out.

Post back the wire colors, look for a colored stripe when you identify them since many of the wires are a color and then have a different color stripe.

Looks like purge valve connector to me.
GLE should be 10v car....so might be for IAT sensor at air intake hose.
If it isn't for purge valve post a picture of engine bay and air filter housing towards the engine.

Snake that connector under and behind the curved accordion throttle body hose( in your pictures) and you will a see the connection on a small device attached to the lower half of the air filter box.

I think not; sounds like you are referring to the boost control solenoid (BCS, TCV), which this car does not have.

My '94 850 is NA and that is where it goes. It looks like a electric motor. There are two tiny white plastic tubes attached to other side of the device. You can even see one of the white hoses near the throttle cable in the first picture!

I think it is an IAT sensor on the 10 valve non turbo 1994 in that location.

You could confirm by comparing wire colours to the wiring diagram
