1998 S70 won't start

Just drove my 1998 S70 GLT two days ago and started without a problem.

Today it will not start-nothing! Service light came on for past few days but figured it was my oil change date that had come and gone by a week. I park in my driveway that is fairly steep maybe 35 degrees. It was cold here the past few days/ nights but I have a year old (new) volvo battery! Could problem be alternator? All dashboard lights come on when I turn the key.
