850 left front end creaking sound

Post by Paul-93-850 »

My 1993 850 left front end is making a creaking sound. Hear it when driving slow and strait. It might be a coincidence but I noticed the issue after I jacked up the right side high for a couple days. Does something need greasing or replacing?

Check the spring seat on that side. Heck, check 'em both. Put a large wrench on the top nut and with slight force try to turn it. If it spins them it's broken. If you meet resistance then the rubber is still intact and bonded to the metal sleeve.
