Right Rear Transverse Arm Mount
Right Rear Transverse Arm Mount
I just had the alignment on my 98 S70 checked and the shop informed me my right rear transverse arm mount is broken. Well after much searching through the major parts sites I figured out there is such a thing as a transverse arm and actually located some diagrams that were helpful. I cant find the part. Has anyone encountered a similar situation. Any ideas would be appreciated. Many Thanks Angela

It could be the link:
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... -3516122oe
Or could be the bushing/anchorage, I needed to replace a broken one on my 1996 850 that broke off.

Better ask the shop to show you, or give you a photo of the mount, and ask them tell you if the mount itself is located on the right, or left side, because the right arm bushing is installed on the left side of the car, and vice versa.

Trailing arm bushing or delta link, or both.
It’s a nasty job for DIY, did one, didn’t like it

Thank you so much will check it out and update. As an aside I can’t say enough good things about this site. Earlier this spring I thought my vehicle was kaput. I’ve learned so much and saved tons with the diy I could manage. The car body still looks great and now the engine is zipping right along. I just have to get through this suspension issue and I should get some great use out of her. Just went over 250,000. Many thanks
