For some stupid reason I can't put pics here. My stupidity more than likely.

About six months ago I hit a curb, broke two wheels and had to buy 4 P-Zeros.
That happened because a driver on my right got too close with his pick up loaded with trash hanging off.
My first concern was keeping the car on the road.
The pick up didn't stop and I had to limp to the side of the road.
So I figured I had to eat the damage and I didn't know the damage was covered.
My Volvo is the first car I've ever had with collision coverage.
Someone told me recently that that is a covered claim.
I called my insurance to get the tires and wheels paid for.
They sent a claims adjuster to the house and he saw all the scratches on the right side.
He said they were also covered and would be added to the claim.
It turns out, the damage is more than the value of the car.
So the insurance co said they are going to buy the car from me.
This was a perfectly pristine 160K car.
Anyway, I thought that a forum member might be interested in some parts from it.
I also have an equally pristine donor car with a blown head gasket.
Someone must be able to do something good with these cars.
Give me a call @ 650.455.1110 if I can do something with them.
Or email me- [email protected]
