1993 940 Nonturbo SRS Light

Post by Smar1991 »

I have 93 940 that has an SRS light that won't go away. I pulled two codes initially, 2-1-2 and 2-4-2. I replaced the clockspring, passenger seat belt tensioner, driver's airbag, and cleared the codes. But I'm still pulling the 2-1-2 code. Am I forgetting something? Does the module under the driver's seat need to be replaced as well?

Thanks in advance for any advice you all have, my local Volvo mechanic has no clue.

I've never pulled steering wheel off, but from photo I suppose they use something that contacts a rotating surface.

There is a right and wrong way when trouble shooting, in terms of dis-arming it.

"For driver's and passenger airbags manufactured between 1993 and 1996, the service life can be extended to 15 years"
