2002 V70 Instrument cluster lights 9472110 9472109

So...MDK here. I just wanted oragex and the other moderators to know it was just the bulbs. I couldn't see what gear I was in or the time or temperature. Volvo wanted 10$ for each bulb not in stock and had to order them. I went down to the junkyard and he actually gave them to me....huh. MDK rolling on...

MDK - Excellent results and a win. Any chance you can post the part numbers for future members as your posting title is pretty good for searches? A little write up on the process would be golden.

Ok superherman..MDK here. I don't really have any part # but the process is pretty straight forward. It's a 2002 V70. I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery pulled the steering column... down and out for better access.i I then took a thick wide blade screw driver and popped out the cover around the instrument cluster... carefully. Then I removed the 4 t25 rorx bit screws that secure the cluster to the dash. Pulled the unit out and unplugged it flipped it over. On the back of the unit they will say blue black and gray. All you do is turn them a little bit and they pull out. I replaced the burnt ones will the ones I got from the junkyard. The new ones came from a 2004 S60. I replaced 7 bulbs. Volvo wanted to charge me 10$ a piece and had to order them. Huh..no. took me about an hour start to finish. Put it all back together started the wagon and set my clock. Hope that this may be a help to someone. Not hard really...MDK
