Can I bore the block B5254T7

Can I bore the block B5254T7

Hi. I have a 2008 Volvo C70 and engine is B5254T7. One of my pistons was bad and chipped a piece off of piston sleeve. Are these blocks able to be Bored out? Thank you

I had the same thing happen to one of my cylinders. I took it to the local machine shop and he told me that as long as the chip didn't interfere with the wipe then it was worth a try rebuilding.

I just now seen this. Sorry for the late reply. Got a used engine and it's been awesome.. thank you for your response though.
