removal cig lighter receptacle

Howdy y'all,
I went to the parts yard and got a heater control unit for my 04 xc70. I just needed the face plate and the cig lighter receptacle. I got the face plate off and on to the old one, but I can't figure out how to pop out the cig lighter receptacle. Any help would be appreciated.

There are two little tabs down in there and they need to be pushed in to remove it. its really hard to do i broke mine when i took it out and replaced with a usb port to my radio.
