Nivomat Rear Shocks

Hi , my Nivomat rear shocks failed in inspection and now I have trouble to get the right type/model to purchase, is there someone who could help me to get some good search and buy (In Europe) website/manufacturer details/type/code/etc. I could start with and hopefully find cheaper solution than garage offered 900-1000 EUR/pcs? Also if there are options to change over to normal shocks I would appreciate input and options in same way? My car details should be following: 2001 VOLVO V70 T5 5 DR WAGON B5234 T3 ME7 FWD AW55-5X SN, thanks in advance.

This has come up there several times. Recently someone reported on converting to regular (non-Nivomat) shocks.

A fellow named Rufe at FRF Volvo in Wales (practically England) deals with the board members and discounts prices. The first one is Rufe.
