Cold Start ok, almost stall during warm up, then fine when warm

I've seen similar symptoms but not a clear solution:
06 V70R - just been through Timing Belt, PCV, struts, radiator.......
If it is a few degrees below freezing - cold start is fine - but once the engine tries to slow and idle down (after about 1 min) it almost stalls, recovers, and almost stalls - does this for a few minutes until the engine is warmer, once fully warm it is just fine.
I have VIDA, and may try to observe fuel/02's but have not actively run vida this way yet.
Kind of tricky to trouble shoot because after it is warm, the symptoms are gone.
Also not a lot of fun booting up the laptop to watch in the morning when you are trying to get somewhere.....

Any suggestions appreciated.

I know that this was posted a while ago, but did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am having a similar problem with my 93 850.

sounds like the ETM to me?..there is a test on VIDA

I cleaned my idle control valve a couple of weeks ago, still having the problem.
