My wife's 2007 C70 is in beautiful shape, but there is crazing, cracking in the headlamp covers she would like fixed. It is mainly a cosmetic issue, not dense enough to create illumination or scattering issues. She has the optional projector lights.
It looks like replacement headlight covers are available. But I have also read that on the 2007 model you have to replace the complete unit. These are pretty pricy.
- Can the covers be replaced separately?
- Are there instructions anywhere?
- I suspect that if they are replaceable you have to pull out the headlights and remove clips to swap the covers.
Help is appreciated.
