Maintenance overdue message reset - 2017 XC60

Post by T64me » Sun Jan 06, 2019 6:19 pm

I tried watching a couple videos regarding the "Maintenance overdue" message reset process. No luck with either video. Does anyone know what the process is? I did try to search on this site and did not find the process.

Thanks in advance for help with this!

I mentioned a 2017 XC60 in the subject line. That's the one I need help with. My older cars are so much easier to reset....

So may don't do that I stopped looking there.

1. Turn the ignition to position I.
2. Press and hold in the OK button on the left steering wheel stalk.
3. Continue to hold OK, turn the ignition switch to position II.
4. Wait for 10 seconds. Release the OK button when the information light starts to flash.
5. Turn the ignition off for 3 minutes and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

What does position I or II mean when the car has a start button rather than a key to turn?

You will find it in the manual, page 78-79. must be similar in eng version.

Att välja nyckelläge/nivå
• Nyckelläge 0 - Lås upp bilen – därmed är
bilens elsystem pĂĄ nivĂĄ 0.
• Nyckelläge I - Med fjärrnyckeln helt intryckt i
startlåset15 – Tryck kort på START/STOP
ENGINE.
• Nyckelläge II - Med fjärrnyckeln helt intryckt
i startlåset15 – Gör ett långt16 tryck på
START/STOP ENGINE.
• Tillbaka till nyckelläge 0 - För att återgå till
nyckelläge 0 från läge II och I – Tryck kort på
START/STOP ENGINE.

Google Translate:

Selecting key mode / level
• Key position 0 - Unlock the car - thus is
the car's electrical system at level 0.
• Key position I - With the remote key fully depressed
start lock15 - Briefly press START / STOP
ENGINE.
• Key position II - With the remote key fully depressed
in the start lock15 - Press a long16 button
START / STOP ENGINE.
• Back to key mode 0 - To return to
