Lower Hudson Valley indie shops ?

Anybody know of any reputable indie shops in lower Hudson Valley N.Y. I need trailing arm mounts done before I turn my '94 850 into my daily to Jersey commuter car. I've done all my own work so far, but this won't be easy in an unheated gravel floor barn, and don't want to wait until spring. What should a job like this cost, I've done the the delta links, Thanks in advance

About $300 in parts and 10 hours of labor. $1500 all in.

Most shops will drop the entire rear axle to get this nasty job done and burn the old ones out.

Yikes. I had no idea. I think I wait until spring and do it myself, just put 4 tires on it and local tire shop was afraid to attempt rear alignment, aligned front for free (gee thanks). It does drive straight as an arrow on NYS thruway though. Thanks for your input.

Auto Center in Chappaqua New York, right off the Saw Mill Parkway has a dude named John who is an exceptional Volvo mechanic.

Unfortunately for me I no longer work in the area so I'm looking for someone with a VIDA who can take care of those really annoying check engine codes my meters won't deal with. I'm in Peekskill New York pretty near the Bear Mountain Bridge and I'd love to find someone a little closer than 35 min away to do dumb crap like reset codes when I fail to plug in my MAP correctly and am now looking at a big old check engine light for no god reason.

IF anyone knows of a mechanic with a VIDA in N. Westchester, S. Putnam or even Orange/Rockland near the bridge, that would be super great to know!

There is also PB's Automotive in Kent CT specialized in Volvo repair, right over the border of NY.
Pete does outstanding work and is totally honest. He is a trained Volvo mechanic with incredible knowledge.
He is the only mechanic allowed to touch my Volvos. I have known him for over 10 years now.
