Tragic story made short. My mechanics dog ate his homework (she actually ate my cars hoses tho). And we are still missing one hose (it seems). The hose or connector missing is the one that connects the Oil Trap to the Air Intake Manifold on the front of the engine. I bought hose number 9497569 but it seems we either bought the wrong hose OR we need an additional one OR a connector, and Im still trying to find/see how this hose is connected.
I was wondering if anyone here had a Volvo S80 first generation (mine is 2004), with the same type of engine mine has. And if you wouldn't mind taking a bit of time from your day, to snap a few pictures (of the engine and said parts). PLEASE, I would really appreciate this.
To ensure your engine type is the same one as mine (B6294S2); you can easily go to this link: https://www.volvotechinfo.com/index.cfm ... vindecoder, type your VIN number and the page will tell you what engine type you have.
I will be attaching images for reference.
Thank you so much!

I have the same engine as is a non turbo 2004 6. I ran the VIN decoder and came out same engine. On mine the hose comes out the top forward connector and turns to go up to the intake manifold.

Hope this helps.

@bojiefied Scot, I hope I'm not too much of a bother. Would it be to much to ask for if you could snap a few more pictures? Specifically I'm looking for where the top entrance connector goes into. And the top of the manifold? Ill attach a few pictures (took one of yours borrowed) so you can have a better idea.
Thank you SO much!

- Right where the circle is, there is a hose that connects there. Do you also have that on your engine, where does that go to?

I will try when I get home this evening and see if I can get a better angle. The hose you point to on my pic is available at FCP and is part of the kit referenced by oragex above- FYi. I will post when I have more pics.

OK I hope this helps. It goes from the front of the separator up through the bottom of intake to the nipple on the upper intake where the clamped hose in the picture goes. Nothing more. This is a very simple system compared to the 5 cylinders.
Below is another shot of it coming off the front of the oil separator and heading up between the lower intake tubes.

Below is a shot from the passenger end of the intake showing the hose connecting to the nipple on the upper intake tube.

And here is a link to the hose in question at FCP with a picture of the hose.

So it looks like that after market hose that is in your pictures with the clamps was a replacement for the original.
I hope this helps.
