I have just taken delivery of a new XC60 2017 model with Volvo roof racks. I experienced a variable humming or whistling noise not correlated with road surface, engine speed or car speed. The noise can be evident between 20 and 60 kms per hour.
Took it to the dealer and the service guys said that noise happens all the time. Sales guys said 'what noise'.
Changed roof racks a few times. No success. Eventually tried taking off the roof racks and noise was still evident.
Help please it is driving me mad.
